Born and raised in Antwerp, I grew up in an environment shaped by history, craftsmanship, and a quiet reverence for well-made objects.
The spaces around me were filled with antique bronzes, old wooden boxes, and classical pieces collected over time , objects chosen for their detail, patina, and the stories they carried. From an early age, this shaped my sensitivity to form, materials, and the quiet presence objects can hold.
I studied Interior Design in Brussels, where I developed a deep understanding of proportion, space, and the relationship between objects and their environment. In 2013, my practice evolved from small-scale jewellery to larger sculptural objects, allowing for greater freedom, lightness, and spatial expression.
Metal became my primary language ,not for its shine, but for its warmth, delicacy, and quiet nobility. I am drawn to refined lines, subtle gestures, and objects that radiate presence rather than demand attention.
My influences lie in kinetic sculpture, minimalism, and spatial poetry world where balance, rhythm, and movement shape the language of form. I am fascinated by objects that breathe, oscillate, or quietly shift in space, creating a dialogue between object, architecture, and atmosphere.
Today, my work exists between object and sculpture, function and quiet presence. I create pieces designed to become personal companions ,timeless objects that generate a sense of physical, emotional, and unseen space.
